A super-wide silhouette that makes a "whoosh, whoosh" sound with every step.
And a camouflage color that won't blend in with others.
The camouflage pattern is created using a traditional dyeing technique passed down in Kyoto called "tenassen" (hand-printing).
The pattern color is created meticulously by hand-coloring each piece.
Because it is very costly, the price reflects this, making it not an easily affordable item, but rather something chosen by those who truly desire it.

The silhouette is super wide.
No matter how wide, it's rare to find something so decisively wide and designed with a three-dimensional structure, making it more stylish than its appearance and impression might suggest.
The silhouette when walking is also beautiful, with a lovely drape of the fabric.

It doesn't cling to the body line yet looks neat, and its presence means that even with a simple top, these pants can be the main focus of your coordination.
This kind of extremely wide silhouette is rare; it's stress-free even for desk work, and as mentioned earlier, the silhouette is so good that you'll look stylish, with a well-balanced design visible from all 360 degrees.
These are special military pants, handmade and not mass-produced.

Design

Cargo pants.
These distinctive pants were inspired by the US military M51, with modified and enlarged side pockets.

Please pay close attention to the pocket placement.
This "six-pocket" model originally featured two hip pockets, two side pockets, and two back pockets, for a total of six.
However, in this GURANK design, the hip and side pockets are combined into one, giving the cargo pants a sleek rather than a bulky appearance.

About Silhouette

Extra-wide silhouette.
The silhouette pairs well with poplin fabric.

Tucks are added to the front and back.
This creates a loose fit around the hips with a snug waist, forming a "thump" silhouette that drops straight down.
Additionally, because the pattern was meticulously drafted, the silhouette is excellent, and it doesn't feel out of place even when worn a size up.
You can wear it with an even bolder, straighter fit.

About the Fabric

The camouflage pattern is made using a traditional Kyoto technique called "tenassen," or hand-printing. This is a method of manually printing patterns onto fabric. Long fabric is set and firmly fixed onto a printing table, and wrinkles and dirt are removed from the fabric to ensure it is even and prevents misalignment during printing. Although the print itself appears random, patterns are created beforehand and then applied.
