In the 1960s, Levi's Sta-Prest, also known as "Sta-Pre," was popular among young people as casual pants, considered "more elegant and formal" than jeans.
This item, made from a polyester-cotton twill fabric used in Sta-Pre, is designed as fatigue pants (or baker pants) and has been released.
　
The pattern is made more trouser-like and formal than actual fatigue pants, and the sewing is done by dress artisans.
While the design has a workwear/military appearance, the silhouette is elegant and refined, without the ruggedness of trousers or slacks.
It's like wearing Sta-Pre without the center crease.
The shallow tucks create a rounded and three-dimensional hip area, and the regular rise offers a comfortable, enveloping fit.
It is durable, resistant to losing its shape, and wrinkle-resistant, with a smooth texture that feels good against the skin, making it suitable for wear all year round.

Design

Based on fatigue pants, the silhouette has been designed as trousers. Shallow pleats create room around the waist, making them comfortable to wear. The garment is sewn by dressmakers at a dress factory. The result is a refined finish, without any ruggedness.

About Silhouette

These work pants have a relaxed silhouette and a finish akin to slacks or trousers. While typical vintage work and military pants have a flat silhouette, these are sewn in a dressmaking factory. They lack the ruggedness of work or military wear, and although they have the appearance of fatigue pants, their silhouette is three-dimensional, as if one were wearing slacks.

About the Fabric

Polyester-cotton twill fabric.
It is characterized by being wrinkle-resistant.
It is very light and feels pleasant against the skin.
It can be washed at home as usual.
Since it is a durable fabric, you can generally machine wash it.
Putting it in a laundry net will make it last longer.
